What Is Pre-Production?
Pre-production is the planning stage of video production: developing the concept, writing the script, casting the talent, scouting the locations, and building the shot list before filming begins. It’s the least visible part of the process and the most important one — every decision made here saves time and money on the filming day, and shows up on screen as a video that feels intentional instead of improvised.
